World champion Kylian Mbappé wants to become better than Barca’s exceptional player Lionel Messi.
Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé has confidently commented on comparisons with FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi. The world champion not only wants to catch up with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, he also wants to outdo him.
At Canal Football Club, Mbappé said, “Messi? He has his qualities, but I think I can be much better than him in three or four years if I work on myself.”
Nevertheless, Mbappé also knows about the significance of the 31-year-old: “I respect what he has done for football. He is a good player”, the Frenchman emphasized his appreciation for Messi.
Mbappé, considered the world’s best teenager, has already scored 14 goals and made 8 assists in 16 games this season.

Mbappé is just great! He is always focused on the game and has such skill and speed on the ball – and he is so humble! Whenever he is interviewed, he usually answers politely and he seems very friendly.
Also, do you remember that he donated his WorldCup earnings? That was a nice gesture, wasn’t it?

He is definitely among the greatest young footballers ever @AAKB, being the second teenager after Pelé to score in a world cup final. We will have to see if he continues his meteoric rise.
Wow, I did not know that he had donated it. You are right: what a nice gesture!
Enjoy your day!
